First, for the price you cannot beat this. Like other reviewers said, the fountain is completely brown, no tan top part but it still looks great. At first the pump did seem kind of loud. I added a little more water and it sounded a little better. But then I played around with the pump and moved it until it was secure and off to the side. Now all I hear if the calming sound of the water. If you plan to keep the fountain a few feet from your head then you will definitely hear the pump. Overall a great purchase and a great addition to the home.

This is a nice little table top fountain, but it's not the color shown in the picture, it's solid brown. It dribbles a little over the edge sometimes, but not too bad. It's still overall a fun, relaxing accent piece. I also purchased the Bond Gila Table Top Fountain. I love the color & texture of it! I like it better cause you can hear the water more. Both fountains were worth the price I paid.

First, it is solid brown, not 2-toned and no tan. The pump is very quiet once you position it right, so fiddle if it is humming loudly. If you overfill, it is virtually silent so try a bit less water if you are looking for the trickling sound.

Not as good a water sound as I had hoped. Also makes an irritating motor sound I have not been able to get rid of. OK for the price but not sure I would order another one.
