The solar panel can be wall- or stand-mounted with included hardware. Just be sure it faces the sun. A 15-foot cord powers to the fountain, so it can be placed almost anywhere. This product carries a one year warranty.

It is recommeneded to use distilled or rain water to prevent scale build up. If, after a period of time, the pump start to lose pwer or stops working check for builddup of sediment, scale or dirrt in the filter housing and in the bottom of the pump housing. Open the filter housing and clean the filter. Remove the pump cover and clean the filter. Remove the pump cover at it's base, take out the impeller and remove any sediment, scale or dirt that has built up. Re-fit the impeller, pump cover and filter housing.
The solar panel should be cleaned periodically with a soft tissue and proprietary glass cleaning solution. Regular cleaning of the panel is advised to maintain optimum coversion of the sun's energy into direct current.
