Special Note: Solar bird baths and fountains require plenty of direct sunlight to operate properly. Please be sure to have a sunny spot to place your bath or fountain. Also, the pump must never be operated dry (out of water). Dry operation permanently damages the pump.

I love this birdbath/fountain! It was simple to put together - the main top piece just screwed into the bottom - very secure unlike other birdbaths I have put together. The solar panel sits in the top piece. You must put the water in the lower bowl which is quite deep before you put the top piece on. The fountain works immediately in the sun. I put it in front of my 83 yr old tenant's kitchen window and her only complaint is not being able to get any work done since she's enjoying watching the birds so much! It is really cool how it works so instantly! The font is deep so that you don't have to fill it up as much as others. Great design & very attractive!

The color doesn't look anything like the picture online and so far have not gotten it to have enough solor power to use the spray head on the top of the fountain. To get water to flow have removed the spray head and am using it that way. It is doing the main job I wanted which is moving the water to keep the bugs out and keep the water fresher but not getting much water sound.

I love the look, looks like stone. Very pleased. Just wish it had some sort of battery backup, so it would run even when a cloud goes in front of the sun.

Easy set up!Took a little tweeking to get level, placed a concrete patio block under it, really helped. Delivered next day as promised. BUT, make sure you have direct sun or it or will not work. The shadow of the late day sun on the soler panel from the fountain head will actually cause it to barely trickle. So if you are ok with all of that-perfect. I am happy with my purchase, but I always try to inform people - honestly. It is awesome looking, a nice design, wish it would "store" suns energy or offer a electric pump option. If so then I'd give it 5 stars, ... a solid 4. I would recommend this product.

It was fairly easy to assemble. However, it does need direct sun in order to flow. If a cloud comes over it, it stops. But then, it's still a bird bath. Waiting for all of our birds to come take a drink.

This product works well in direct sunlight-- it has a high fountain and the water flow is really pretty, but if there is any shade it will not work. This is exactly what I expected from reading other reviews about other solar bird baths and I'm happy with it.
The only thing I'm a little disappointed in is the weight of the product. It doesn't feel all that sturdy even with all the water in it. I added some river rocks into the base and that seemed to have helped a little bit. The basin is pretty deep anyways so it is probably safer anyways to add something into the basin.
Overall, i'm very happy with the look of the product and the solar fountain.
