The Crested Creek Fountain features four tiers that hold simple bowls with alternating spouts. Water flows gently from the top bowl, into the two below, and collects in the bottom bowl to be recycled again. The round curves of the bowls create an intriguing contrast to the straight, flat surfaces of the tiers and base. All parts of this fountain are constructed of a very durable, weather-resistant stone resin that is stronger than fiberglass. The resin material has a natural, realistic stone-like texture that feels like cement but looks like stone. Hose off with water when dirty. In the winter, it is strongly recommended to drain the water from the fountain. If the water is left inside and freezes, the fountain will crack.

I really like my fountain but it is really too loud for inside use and it does splash over. The design is what attracted me. I bought it for my bedroom but found that it is way too noisy. I now have it in the entrance way but is a little too loud for there also. This fountain would be great outside in the garden which is where I will place it next year after Winter.

Exceptionally easy to set up..really not much required at all. The sound is beautiful. It is more of a true rushing water sound than the sound you get with many other budget fountains, which usually remind me more of someone going to the bathroom. The appearance is likewise attractive except for an oddity in the shape which makes it difficult to fully hide the cord in the back. I got around this problem by placing an artificial plant to block that view. My only real complaint relates to the considerable amount of splash over. We ended up having to place a sheet of plastic and a black towel (to match the table top) under the fountain so as not to get water on the table top. Some water can even splash onto the carpet, so be aware. Nevertheless, My wife and I love the sound and consider the fountain a beautiful decorative addition. Would definitely recommend it with the one caveat regarding splash over.

This fountain is not only beautiful but it is an impressive example of a feng shui fountain. You can feel the positive invigorating Ch'i or positive energy when you are near this fountain. However, be prepared for a lot of splash (up to a foot on either side) and small leaks. I recommend you place this fountain in a waterproof plant saucer to protect surrounding furniture and floors.
