Water flows from the textured pineapple accent on top and pours from tier to tier, trickling through intricate carvings until collected in the bottom basin. The circular base continues the carved leaf motif as it creates a sturdy foundation for this tall, 46-inch fountain.
The Costa Brava fountain is made of a very durable, weather-resistant resin that has the appearance of real stone. Choose from two classically inspired painted finishes to complement the Mediterranean design. In addition to its beautiful visual elements, this traditional outdoor fountain will also provide peaceful background music for your backyard memories. This fountain requires very little maintenance and comes with its own UL-listed pump and submersible lights in the bottom basin that create a dramatic display at night. Two 10-watt 12-volt (MR-11) bulbs are required to operate the illumination feature. Four bulbs are included with purchase. Intended for outdoor use only, this fountain will make an enchanting accent in the midst of your garden's colorful blooms.

Splashing may occur when fountain is initially turned on. Protect surrounding surfaces as needed. Pump must be fully submersed in water while operating. To reduce mineral deposits and bacteria build-up, the use of distilled water is recommended. Once a week, inspect the fountain, floor, and adjacent wall for moisture build-up and clean as necessary. This is especially important for humid environments.

VERY Disapointed. Don't Waste Your Money

I purchased this fountain about a year ago. When I received the fountain I liked the design of the fountain and how it fit in with the garden design. After I put the peices together I realized the the teirs would never stand straight. After lining the teirs up as close to straight as possible I filled the fountain with water and plugged in the pump. I was unimpressed with the sound of the water running. If it was REALLY quiet you could hear it ok but it was not at all what I expected. I also noticed the lights did not want to stay in place and kept trying to float around in the water. After about a month of use I noticed the paint flaking off from all the teirs. After about 2 months I noticed that I was having to fill the water up at least 1 time a day. I later realized that there was a crack somewhere in the lower tier and was draining all the water out. After only 3 months I decided to turn the power off and just have an empty water fountain sitting in my garden because that is all it was good for. I finally threw the whole thing in the trash when a gental bump of the fountain resulted in the top 2 teirs seperating from the base and falling to the ground resulting in a shattered fountain. I am VERY VERY disapointed in this fountain and hate that I wasted my money and time on it. DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING THIS FOUNTAIN!!!!!! BEWARE

The quality of this fountain exceeded my expectations. Having most of the separate fountain parts "screw" together is a great idea. I have had other fountains that use other techniques that do not hold up and eventually come apart. The pump tube is a about 3 inches too short in length, making the final step of assembly very difficult to ensure the pump is laying flat in the reservoir while keeping the tube properly connected to the pump.

Thank you for providing a good product. It arrived on time which was essential to this sale. The look and feel of the fountain in the park like setting is ideal. We only had one problem with a small part of the base chipping off. The base of the fountain was not wrapped well enough. It was minor and we were able to conceal it by putting lush ferns at its base.

The first time I tried to assemble it, it slipped from my grasp and shattered on the concrete patio. The second unit went together smoothly and is operating very well. I suggest that the pump be attached to the upper two sections on the ground and then assembled to the base. The design prevents one from seeing where the pump is located during assembly of the top two sections to the large base. Very poor design.

This product is VERY fragile. While trying to assemble it, I dropped the top section on the concrete patio and it shattered resulting in a new order and return of the broken item.
The design is typical Chinese. It is very difficult to install the pump and manage all the wires to the lights. The tubing from the top to the pump is just long enough to reach if the pump is up inside the mid section. This means that you have to have someone else hold the upper two sections while you connect the pump. Then you have the problem of routing the wires for the lights out of the center so they are not crushed by the walls of the mid section. The assembly is doable with patience and time. Don't think you can assemble this item in a hurry.

Q1: what color is zinc?
A: Zinc is more of a silver/gray color. The main image is shown in zinc.
Q2: How long is the power cord?
A: The power cord is 6 ft. long.
Q3: Is there an on/off switch and can you have the water sound to be medium?
A: There is no switch on the cord. The pump is adjustable. It is on the side of the pump.
Q4: I live in Florida, will the hot sun cause it to fade?
A: This fountain is made of resin. It is possible that it could fade over time.
Q5: Does power cord come out of bottom under patio? Is there a switch to turn on/off?
A: The cord will come out of the bottom of the fountain. There will not be an on/off switch you will need to unplug from outlet.
