Made from cast stone, fiber-reinforced concrete. The sphere measures 6 inches in diameter and the cord that comes out the bottom of the bowl is 6 feet long. This fountain puts out 17 amps.

I would buy this product again!
We love it! It completes a tiered raised flower bed and exceeds our expectations. While we would like it to attract birds, it's not been operating long enough yet to tell.

Nice Fountain
this is an adequate fountain for our purposes, but i wish it had smoother seams from where it was cast. we will probably repaint it.

Very well made and an attractive classic design - I had a hard time finding a fountain for our garden that, in my opinion, wasn't over-done and or gaudy. Some reviewers mentioned they had difficulty keeping the hose on the pump and had to purchase a clamp. Although it wasn't explained anywhere, there was an alternate black plastic fitting included in the pump box that accommodated the tubing - you just had to figure out how to change the piece out. All in all, I am very pleased with this purchase. So far, I haven 't seen any birds drinking at the fountain, but they are investigating it.
(also, I had called the manufacturer of this product before purchasing - they were very helpful explaining the details and helped me choose a color, texture, and pedestal size.)

Very impressed with this fountain. Not only did it come packaged for a potential earthquake; 3 separate boxes, with styrafoam spacing, it also had tons and tons of foam rubber to prevent breakage. It was easy to put together too. It does have evaporation issues and over splash as any fountain would, but my husbnad set it up with a timed automatic refill every 6 hours for 2 minute duration to prevent it from drying up. You'll have to figure out your issues related to climate direct sunlight etc, but it works sweet. Now I can enjoy and not have to worry. Don't hesitate to buy this one!
