Here is what artist Henry Harvey of the Harvey Gallery had to say about the Canyon Wall Fountain: "Assuming you want to know the truth here, to achieve all the natural-looking patinas and textures on this fountain, we had to: pound it with a variety of different hammers, run back and forth over it with my Kubota, twist it into weird contortions, then untwist it,shoot it repeatedly with special bullets, heat it, quench it, then hit it with strange chemicals. All that work just to get the 'look' of something you'd find in a magical copper mine. Then, when it's all finished, we cover it with optical Lexan so the coloration remains just like the day you bought it. Our little group here is split on whether it's the wall of a canyon up close, or that same canyon viewed from 40,000 feet. Either way, it's really pretty."
