About the Polyester Fountain Cover

Made of sturdy, forest green polyester, the fountain cover is rain-, snow-, ice- and frost-resistant, and will not tear. The cone shape sheds moisture so that it doesn't pool, and it comes with a drawstring cord to seal the cover securely in place over your fountain. The material and thread are UV treated for long life, so you can be sure that you'll have a dependable fountain cover season after season.

    I really like this fountain cover. The last one I had was made from a heavy plastic and it got brittle. The only problem with this new cover is that it does not fit my fountain properly. They should give you more information on the taper of the cover. I guess I could have figured it out before I ordered, but I didn't. The cover fits over the fountain but it's tight on my center tier (3 tier fountain, see picture)and I can't pull it down so that it's tight on the top. Not sure what I'll do. My wife likes to wrap garland and led lights around the fountain so it looks like a xmas tree with an Angel on top. I know the cover will work, it just doesn't look as good as it could, if you know what I mean Vern.

    Don't believe the fit shown in the picture. I have a tall(78") 4-teir fountain and the lowest bowl is 48" in diameter. I bought the large size which is 58" in diameter. The cover tapers far too fast. When the cover is pulled down tight (limited by the diameter of the lowest teir bowl) the large cover barely hangs over the bottom teir bowl - but at the top there still is an extra foot of fabric flopping over. Worse is the fact that because of fast taper/poor fit, it can't be pulled down to take out the slack so water can/will puddle on the cover at each teir. I will be looking for another cover next year.

        I purchased the small cover and, according to the measurements, the circumference of the cover did fit over my fountain, but the height of the cover was too tall causing the cover to collapse into the fountain allowing snow and rain to collect. I will need to exchange for a medium size cover to see if that will correct the problem without having too much of the cover laying on the ground.
