If you want a fountain that is low maintenance this is not it.
The hose inside that attaches to the pump constantly pulls out. It (the hose)isn't long enough so the pump hangs from the hose so it is suspended in the water. Their is no clamp so you just stick it back on every few days. Stupid design. I have to call the company because I never thought It would need daily maintenance, but it does.

We got our new fountain a couple months ago. Loved it....right size, right look and right features....so on and so on.
Then a couple weeks ago I noticed one of the 4 built in LED lights had already burnt out. Then shortly after that I noticed the color or fake stone paint was starting to flake off along the top area where the water runs down the side and also along the top of the base. If I use my waterhose to wash out the impression area where the lights are I can cause the paint to flake. Not sure what's up but I'm in the process of getting this unit returned. Not sure if I want another one of these, or search something else. Seemed weird that the light would burn out so quickly and even more weird the finish/paint would flake off. I like the lights but with only a 1 year warranty if the lights start to go bad you can't replace them...they are molded into the unit.

This fountain turned out purfict for the closed side of our patio. When I first unpacked it I was not sure I'd like it. However it looks great and functions well. Setup was easy and I couldn't be happier. We have the fountain set in a small garden next to a white brick wall. At night the lights through the water give a beautiful display on the wall. What a wonderful suprise.

I am very satisfied with this fountain. It is a true statement in my garden. Especially at night with the lights!
