Description

The Reflecting Floor Fountain draws on the dazzling effect of mirrored surfaces to create this eye-catching fountain. This fountain stands four feet high, resulting in an impressive cascading sheet of water down the front side. The streaming ripples are given another dimension of appeal by the reflecting and refracting action of the mirrored face. An overhead crane-neck light fixture shines down on the flowing water for a dramatic affect. This fountain holds 4 gallons of water.
Naturally beautiful, polished river stones are included to fill the basin of this fountain.

Good choice with a caveat

I actually allowed a coworker to make this choice for me of the many I was considering. I had narrowed my selection down to 3 and this fountain was one of them.

I actually allowed a coworker to make this choice for me of the many I was considering. I had narrowed my selection down to 3 and this fountain was one of them.
The unit arrived in one box, and the directions were somewhat easy to follow for the set up. The most time was spent figuring out how the mirrored glass fit together.

I had no problem with splashing once the unit was functioning and adjusted according to directions. I was not pleased with the halogen lamp it came with, it produced too much heat and the light was overbearing for the area. I attempted to splice in a dimmer to control the brightness which did not work and I ended up removing the lamp altogether and purchasing a small can light and placed it behind the mirrors for a more subtle back lit effect.

The one con with this unit is the same most have complained about, the pump noise. While it doesn't overwhelm the sound of the water and can barely be heard over 10 feet away, it is still a slight annoyance. Customer service said its that way with most of the units they sell and couldn't advise or suggest a replacement part.

Overall I'm very happy with the choice I let my female coworker choose for me and think its an excellent buy.

        A: Reflective glass- the panels are connected with screws

        Q2: Does the water fall on both sides of this fountain?

        A: No, only down the front, but there will be a little on the back due to the way the tubing is mounted.
