Water flows beautifully over the inverted slate panel, down into the bed of polished river rocks that lie in the basin of the BluWorld Hanging Slate Wall Fountain. This genuine multi-color Indian Rajah slate is a veneer created from a special process that fuses it to a composite material with the same chipped edge technology as a solid slab of slate. The result is a piece indistinguishable from a thick slab of slate without the weight. You get all the same beauty, but the weight is reduced by 90%. A copper basin and copper roof decorate each end of this stunning slate piece. A stunning Copper Vein finish with a protective, clear, powder coating is applied to all copper surfaces for a longer-lasting life. Finally, a halogen accent light is mounted into the roof for an extra romantic touch.
Each fountain is handmade with raw, natural materials. This means that no two are exactly alike. Fountains may vary slightly in size and the texture and color of the slate and copper materials used may vary slightly as well. A quiet submersible pump is included so there's no need for plumbing. You can even adjust the water's flow. This fountain arrives completely assembled. Simply hang it on the wall per the included instructions.

Distilled water is always recommended; the water should be completely removed and cleaned about once every three months. The units (72 and larger) have a filtration system to keep the water free of debris. The units need to be topped off with water as to keep the pump completely submersed.
Maintenance of Pumps and Filters
The filters are re-usable; they can be rinsed out and replaced in the unit. The pumps have a one year warranty and do burn out occasionally. This is primarily due to the pump being run without proper water levels, causing it to burn out the motor. Bluworld does sell replacement pumps for the units. Bluworld pumps are specially manufactured as to insure that the noise level of the pump does not interfere with sound of falling water.
