The 4400 1 HP Aerating Fountain is perfect for medium to large ponds.  The 8-foot tall by 26-foot diameter “V” shape pattern adds beauty to your pond while the system adds oxygen and improves your pond aeration and health.  A unique four-blade prop decreases water slippage past the blades for increased performance. 
Kasco fountains are proven to be higher water flow rates per kW of power used compared to the competition through independent flow rate testing, giving you better aeration for water quality improvement, stronger fountain patterns that hold up to the wind better, and less likelihood of clogging. 
Using low RPM technology, this 1HP motor operates very efficiently and draws only 11.3 running amps for the 120V option and 5.7 running amps on the 240V option.  This means lower operating costs, longer life for the seals and bearings, and less clogging.  The motor is housed in a stainless steel can that is filled with environmentally friendly oil for excellent heat dissipation.  All exposed metal is stainless steel and is protected by a sacrificial zinc anode for corrosion protection and can be used in salt water applications.  Minimal maintenance includes cleaning the stainless steel housing, removing clogs, and replacing the zinc anode when needed.
